Shortening trousers guide
Put your trousers on, fastening your belt at the waist and making sure you are wearing appropriate footwear. Tuck the bottom of your trouser leg inwards to the length required and pin your trousers all the way around the bottom. Check that the length at the back is as required; the hem should be resting just at the top of your shoe heel or slightly higher.

Measure the length in inches along the inside seam, from the crotch to the newly pinned hem. For the best results leave all the pins in your garment. Post your trousers to us with the measurements and printed receipt. If you are unable to print your receipt please write down your required measurments, instructions and order number on a separate piece of paper. If you‘re sending in more than one item, pin your instructions to each item.

Lenghten trousers guide
Put your trousers on, fastening your belt at the waist and making sure you are wearing appropriate footwear. Please note that we can only lenghten your trousers by the amount of hem available on your trousers themselves, remembering to leave 1/2 inch for the heming. Please measure the width of the hem on the trousers (leave 1/2 inch for the hem). Post your trousers to us with the measurements and a printed receipt. Take in waist in the trousers guide
Put your trousers on, pin the waistband of your trousers at the back to the fit required. We would not recommend taking in more than 2 and a half inches. Make a mark on the waistband where you have pinned the trousers. You can use chalk or pins. Measure the amount (in inches) to be taken in. It should be the length between the marks (or pins). For the best results leave all pins in the garment. Post your trousers to us with the measurements and printed receipt. Let out the waist in a men's trousers guide

Taper leg in a trousers guide

Shortening jeans guide
Put your jeans on, fastening your belt at the waist and making sure you are wearing appropriate footwear. Tuck the bottom of your jean leg inside to the length required and pin all the way around the bottom. Check the length at the back, the hem should rest on the top of your shoe heel or slightly shorter.

Put your dress on and pin the loose fabric on the shoulder of the dress to the length you require. Check that the dress is not too tight under the arms. Put your blouse or shirt on, and pin your shirt sleeve at the bottom to the length required. Measure the amount (in inches) that you would like shortened. Make sure that you feel comfortable with the length of the sleeves.

Shortening sleeves with vent (or plain sleeves) in jacket or coat guide

Shortening jacket sleeves from the top guide
This service shortens the sleeves of a jacket which has a vent and where buttonsholes are cut. There is just one way to complete this alteration, requiring alterations from the top of the sleeve.
