Buckleigh of London has been established since 1988 and are well known around the world. We have a good reputation with our customers and give an excellent one to one service.

We specialise in gentlemen's formal wear for hire, retail, bespoke tailoring, ladies and gentlemen's alterations. The Buckleigh 'Cut' is and has always been done at our only premises, which is based at 83 Lower Sloane Street. We are fortunate to have a number of celebrities who visit us often, plus recently we were televised on the English version of 'Queer Eye for the Straight Guy'. Buckleigh of London take great pride in our work and make every effort to ensure all of our customers get the highest quality service.

LADIES AND GENTLEMAN'S ALTERATIONS

Buckleigh of London have for many years now have been the tailors of choice for the Belgravia and Chelsea elite. Situated in the heart of Chelsea we offer many services for ladies and gentlemen including made to measure tailoring and alterations.

Highly trained tailors who specialise in delicate needlework technique perform our alteration services. The quality and finish of our alterations are outstanding. We have for many years been 'bespoken' of our reputation to provide our customers standards and service not met by others. We perform many different alteration procedures including relining jackets, shortening hems, adding new zips, taking in the waist on a garment and sewing on buttons. Our price list reflects our expertise and standards. An example of some of our prices are listed below:

GENTLEMEN'S HIREWEAR

Buckleigh of London has for many years provided the discerning gentlemen with the ability to hire high quality garments at a fraction of the purchase price. We hire out wedding attire including Barathea wool morning coats, trousers and various shades of waistcoats. We also hire out both single and double-breasted dinner suits, their accessories, evening tails and kilts. It can also be arranged to have flowers ordered for a gentleman's lapel.

For the gentleman who lacks time we are equipped with experienced staff who will be able to give a perfect fitting and alteration in under 5 minutes. We are able to make alterations on the premises for each individual to give the impression of a made to measure suit.

For our customers who have already had tailor measured sizes taken and aware of their measurements a suit can be delivered to them via post and delivery couriers at an additional charge.

SALES AND MADE TO MEASURE GARMENTS

Our ex-hire suits are available for purchase and are of excellent condition. However, we do also sell new gentleman's attire and made to measure suits, which are of better quality.

Our made to measure suits are made on premises by our ex-Saville Row tailor who has decades of experience in gentleman's suit tailoring. We use a wide range of cloths and fabrics from England's best manufacturers of cloths and
woollens. The selections range from tweeds to cashmere. Our bespoke tailor
has a reputation for dressing the rich and famous and his clientele is well established.

We are now making Made To Order shirts costing £185. Many samples of fabric, collars, cuffs, buttons and embroidery in store. Making times are estimated at 2-3 weeks.
