Welcome to Buckleigh of London. We are traditional, bespoke tailors specialising in the hire of top quality gentlemens formal wear for all occasions.

Described by our customers as ‘Chelsea’s hidden secret’, we are a family-run business, proud of the personal, friendly and discreet service we offer. We always aim to ‘dress to impress’ – the exceptional craftsmanship offered by our tailors and the fine quality of our garments ensures our customers look impeccable whenever they wear our clothes.

We have an extensive stock of formal suits for hire – dinner suits, morning suits and evening tails in a large variety of sizes including childrens sizes. To complete your outfit, we have a range of top-to-toe accessories from top hats and bow ties down to Oxford brogues and patent shoes. For the discerning gentleman regularly in need of formal wear, we sell ex-hire suits in excellent condition at very reasonable prices.

For those who would like a bespoke suit or item of clothing made to their own exact specification, we have many books of sample fabric to choose from. Our highly-trained tailors specialise in tweed suits, linen suits, suits for the office, plus fours, waistcoats, smoking jackets and formal wear such as tails, dinner and morning suits. We are also able to provide a first-class alterations service for ladies and gentlemen.
